The first half of 2026 has almost come to an end as we welcome in the Summerween season.

You might have noticed I was a little absent during this first half of the year. But I’m back now! Already in the past month and a half I’ve been able to release three new patterns with more in the works.

Thank you for being patient with me as I took some time away. I’m thrilled to be back designing and stitching on a much more consistent basis again. Plus, I have a super fun announcement coming at the end of this newsletter!

New Releases

My first release since February was for all my Summerween readers (and just horror readers overall). My finish of this pattern is currently on my own bookshelf full of thrillers, horrors, and general spooky stories.

The next release is for all the scary movie fans! My hubby and I watch a ton of spooky movies in the summer. Our scary movie nights on the weekend are what I look forward to all week.

We celebrated Summerween on Saturday the 13th. We watched classics like Friday the 13th and Jeepers Creepers. I made us a special cocktail full of edible glitter, so it looked like a potion and a special dessert of mini s’mores pies. Highly recommend hosting your own Summerween night even if it’s just for you!

June Freebie

June is Summerween month, but it can also be a difficult time for some of us around Father’s Day since the only to wish our dad’s a happy Father’s Day is with a Ouija board. I designed this little freebie pattern for anyone who might struggle a little extra during this particular time.

If you are struggling with the grief of losing a parent, just know you’re not alone. It’s an incredibly hard thing to deal with. I’m sending you all the love!
